These 8 year old cleaners are amazing! They happily beaver away for an hour on their chosen rooms and then conduct a tour of all the great work they have done. I have never had such organized yoghurt or carefully arranged shelves;)

The weather was certainly up and down today. Very hot and muggy and then a couple of good thunder storms. Finally around 2:00 the clouds cleared and Olive and Leo decided that they would like to go to the Dollar Store to spend their $3.00 wages. Usually they both bike and I walk but today Olive decided to walk with me while Leo biked. It was a treat to have such a cheering walking companion.

Posing with this art installation has become a yearly tradition. I am certain I have them for at least the last 3 years posed hiding within it.

The rest of the day was filled with card games, swimming, making play dough cookies and of course armed with cap guns, hunting down all of the 'bad' guys on my street.
